These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Canopy application ("Canopy", "we", "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms in full.
Canopy is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner.
The app provides market data, portfolio tracking tools, and AI-generated analysis for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in this app constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, or a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security.
All content provided by Canopy — including Smart Analysis scores, sentiment classifications, AI-generated Deep Intelligence Analysis reports, pattern detection, analyst consensus data, and social sentiment indicators — is generated algorithmically or sourced from third parties and is provided without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
Past performance and historical patterns do not guarantee future results. You should always consult a qualified, licensed financial advisor before making any investment decisions. You are solely responsible for your own investment choices and their outcomes.

Market data, stock quotes, and financial statistics are sourced from Yahoo Finance and other third-party providers. This data may be delayed by 15 minutes or more, may contain errors, and is subject to the terms of the underlying data providers. Canopy does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any market data displayed.
Canopy allows you to import transaction history via CSV files exported from your brokerage. Imported data is processed entirely on-device and stored locally. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of imported data before relying on it for any purpose.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Portfolio data you enter is stored locally on your device and, if you sign in, synced to Canopy's cloud infrastructure. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings > Delete Account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Canopy may offer premium features through subscription tiers. Where offered through the Apple App Store, subscriptions are processed via Apple's In-App Purchase system and are subject to Apple's terms.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store settings.
Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, unused portions are forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Canopy and its creators shall not be liable for any financial losses arising from use of the app, inaccuracies in data or AI analysis, service interruptions, data loss, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canopy, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and applicable provincial legislation. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Canada.
